Cops getting information
THE police squad investigating baby-for-sale syndicates is collecting information on the racket.
Deputy Home Minister Datuk Chor Chee Heung said unit members, mostly women, went on rounds to collect information. 'We do not have much information on these syndicates. We are serious about curbing these activities, although the number of baby-selling cases in the country is small,' Chor told Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi (BN-Batu Pahat), adding that a syndicate was busted in May."
